Our team were victorious in the Mayor of Hertford’s Annual Quiz held in January 2023. 18 teams took part and in a tense finish we were level with one other team at the end. Three further questions were all answered correctly so it went down to a tiebreaker. Our estimate relating to the latest census data was closer so we won an excellent hamper of food, drink, various items, several gift vouchers and 8 cinema tickets! The team consisted of Pam and Neil, Ken and Brenda, Alison and Geoff, and Gary and Helen.
In spite of the stiff opposition, this was the third time in four years we have won the Mayor’s Quiz.
