Autumn Show 2026

The judge’s decision is final.

1. Only plot holders at North Road Allotments may enter exhibits in the show. This includes any family members they live with.

2. All exhibits must have been grown in the exhibitor’s own allotment or garden.

3. All exhibits should be correctly and clearly labelled with the variety, if known, written on the label provided. If variety is unknown label as Name Unknown. Each exhibit should be one variety only, unless otherwise stated in the class description. Show cards will be provided on the morning of the show.

4. Only one exhibit per class is allowed per person. However, if another member of a plot holder’s household also wishes to exhibit in the same class, this is permitted.

5. Plates for fruit and vegetables and vases for flowers will be provided.

6. Timetable.

– All entry forms to be in by midday on Saturday, 5^th September.

– All exhibits to be at the marquee on the allotments by midday on Sunday 6^th September.

– Marquee to be cleared by 12.30pm to allow judging to commence.

– Show opens to the public from 2pm to view the entries and prize winners.

– No exhibits to be removed before the end of the show without permission from NRPG Chairman, Show Secretary, or Committee member.

7. Prizes to be awarded by the Mayor of Hertford (tbc) at 2.30pm.

8. THE JUDGE’S DECISION IS FINAL.

All entries to be submitted by midday on Saturday 5th September

Please pay attention to the number of specimens required in each class and don’t forget to accept the rules before submitting.
